About

The Noble Soul cloister sets a daily wallpaper at first light — one quiet line of scripture or a small original prayer, paired with a frame for the phone or desktop. The library grows by one each morning; members keep what is dropped and what came before.

The work is contemplative, deliberately brief, and made for solitary readers — not for marketing.

Why Selah

Apr 28, 2026

Selah appears seventy-one times in the Psalms, and nobody is sure exactly what it means.

Most scholars settle on something like "pause" or "consider." I take it as: stop reading. Look up. Listen. Then go on.

That is the only thing this small shop is trying to do.

A new card for the noon hour

Apr 28, 2026

Added today: A Lamp For The Long Day. It is for the hour after lunch when the work has not gotten any shorter and the body is heavy.

Print it. Tape it inside a kitchen cupboard. Open the cupboard for a coffee. Let the card meet you there.

On printing things small

Apr 28, 2026

Most of what I make is small on purpose — 4×6, 5×7, single page. I have learned that big devotional posters do not get used. They go on the wall and disappear into the wall.

A small card on the kettle, by the lamp, taped inside a sketchbook — that is where these belong. The size is the point.

Questions before you enter

When do I get my file?

Within a minute or two of checkout, an email arrives with the download link. If it is taking longer, check the spam folder; if it is not there, write back and I will resend.

What can I do with a printable?

Print it for your home, frame it, give it to a friend, tape it inside a notebook. It is for personal use, not for resale.

Can I print at A4 even though it says US Letter?

Yes. The PDFs are designed to print clean on either size with default scaling. If you want a higher-resolution version for a specific format, write — I keep masters of everything.

How does pricing work?

Because some people are at $4 right now and some are at $40. Both are welcome. The minimum is small enough to keep the shop sustainable; anything above is what covers studio operating costs.

I lost the email — can you resend?

Yes. Reply to any past order email, or use the contact page, and I will send a fresh link.

Do you take custom requests?

Sometimes. If you have an idea for a card or a prayer that you would like printed, write and tell me about it. If it fits the shelf, I might make it.
